Our favorite vantage point for stargazing

2018 has been a pivotal year for climate.

UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released an alarming report revealing a catasrophic trajectory of global temperature change. But we don't need scientists to tell us that we are on a wrong path, we have seen it this year more clearly than ever: hurricanes Florance and Michael caused massive destruction in the US, super-typhoons rocked South-East Asia, severe droughts hit Argentina and Uruguay, heavy rainfall caused flooding all over the world, and wildfires in Europe and California destroyed more land and homes than ever before.

There's no doubt that the problem is carbon.

We at Under Lucky Stars have contributed to that problem by manufacturing and shipping star maps around the globe. On the last day of the year, it's time to pay our dues.

Just like last year, we have calculated the carbon footprint for the production and transportation of our products and donated to Cool Earth. With our donation, they will be able to protect enough rainforests from deforestation that will offset our CO2 emission for 2018.

We are sharing this with you to encourage you and your company to do the same. Protecting our environment is cheaper than you think, but the costs of neglecting it will be enormous.

Earth is our favorite vantage point for stargazing. Let's protect it together.
