On April 23, 2019, I married the love of my life.
We met in 1996, and I knew then, at the ripe young age of 17 that she was the one for me. She was not so sure yet, and was too busy chasing girls. Life took it's course and we went our separate ways. All along, I told everyone I met that I knew that if there was one person I truly belonged with, it was her. I hurt many girlfriends' hearts by admitting that I would only ever be IN LOVE with her. She is now and has always been my person.
In 2015, we reconnected and she proposed to me on her birthday, November 24, 2016. Life's obstacles got in our way, and we again postponed our wedding.
This year was THE YEAR. We finally made it to Las Vegas, just the two of us. We searched for the best Elvis impersonator to marry us, and as planned, we got married on my grandparent's 64th wedding anniversary.
It was the best day of my live, hands down. I am so proud to be her wife. It only took us 23 years!
