The star maps
What are star maps?
Given a location (e.g. a city), a date and time of the day, we can calculate the exact celestial location of all the stars and constellations in that very moment, using astronomical algorithms. We then project these onto a map and print it for you so that it serves as a memento of your special moment. For example, first dates, wedding days, birthdays or passed loved ones.
Are your maps scientifically accurate?
Yes. Our maps have been independently audited so that you are always getting an accurate
star map for the most important moments of your life.

What are your prices?
The price of the map depends on its size, whether you want it framed by us and other factors such as promotions.
We recommend starting a design and you'll see the prices as you go. You can always decide not to buy.
How do I order?
Go to our home page and start designing your map by selecting the time
and place from where you want the star constellations to show. This could be any time, your birthday, wedding day,
first date, engagement, etc. Then you will be able to select the color and add your title and footnote on the map.
We adjust the time you enter to the local time zone to the location you selected so that you don't
have to think about this. E.g. if you select New York, you can enter Eastern Time and we'll adjust it to
UTC when we create the map.
Is the frame included?
You can add frame to your map after you added it to your cart or order without the frame and frame it yourself.
Do you sell frames separately?
We sell maps with or without frames but we don't sell empty frames separately.
Where can I find a fitting frame if not buying from you?
Our sizes (12x16 inches, 18x24 inches and 24x36 inches) are US standard paper sizes, you should be able to find frames at online stores (e.g. Amazon.com)
by searching for the appropriate size.
Do you ship to my country?
Most certainly yes. We ship worldwide.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free for unframed prints.
If you choose to get the map framed by us, we will charge a shipping fee
depending on your country and the size of the frame. Framed prints take up much larger space and weight than
unframed maps, so we cannot ship them for free. If you think that the shipping makes it too expensive,
we recommend that you buy a frame locally. To see the actual framed shipping fees, please design a map,
add to your cart, add frame and select the shipping country. You will be able to see the shipping cost there.
How long does shipping take?
Ultimately, delivery times depend on the courier services in each country but we try our best to predict them.
Here are our estimates:
US, Europe, Australia: 7 - 10 Days
Latin America: 14 - 31 Days
Rest of the world: 10 - 21 Days
If that's too slow for you, Express shipping is available to most countries.
This includes manufacturing time that takes 3 full business days. Once the manufacturing is complete,
you will receive a shipping notification email with a tracking link, so you will be able to follow your package.
Can I track my package?
Yes. Once the manufacturing is complete (3 full business days after your order is placed),
you will receive a shipping notification email with a tracking link. If you think you should have
received the email already but haven't, we suggest looking at your SPAM folder. We are happy to
provide updates about your order, get in touch with us at email@example.com
I'm sending a present so I don't want the invoice in the package, can you exclude it?
We don't include anything else in the package, just the map.
In what currency are your prices?
They are in U. S. Dollars ($) for non-EU orders, and EUR (€) for European Union orders where indicated.
What payment methods can I use?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Discover, PayPal and Apple Pay.
My card was declined but I see a charge on my credit card statement. What happened?
Your payment was most likely declined because of ZIP code mismatch. It means that our credit card processor
couldn't match the ZIP code you entered with the one registered with your card. This validation occurs after
they contact your bank and so the charges appear temporarily on your account. They will get released soon
and the funds will be credited back to your account. It's merely an authorization, the money never actually
leaves your account, it's "reserved".
This is a rather stupid system if you ask us but unfortunately, that's the way it works.
We suggest you call your bank if you want to get it released faster.
